The story behind the series
Every year, thousands of young people in Australia face homelessness not because they have nowhere to sleep - but because they have nowhere safe enough to begin again. Bridge It exists to change that. Our Cocoon provides up to 18 months of safe, supported housing, creating a bridge between survival and independence.
This series documents the construction of that bridge. And it asks a simple, powerful question: what becomes possible when a young person finally feels safe?
